SARS-CoV-2 - glycoprotein antibody (CR3022)

SARS-CoV-2 - glycoprotein antibody (CR3022)

The SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein antibody, also known as CR3022 antibody, is used to detect antibodies in individuals infected with SARS-CoV-2. This antibody binds to the amino acids 318-510 in the S1 domain of the SARS-CoV spike protein and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. It is specific to the "open" conformation of the spike protein and can be used in various applications such as ELISA, crystallography, surface plasmon resonance (SPR), and neutralization tests

.Antibody testing for the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein is crucial for determining historic exposure to the virus, understanding the immunological status of individuals, and assessing potential protection against reinfection. Studies have shown that antibody responses develop at different rates depending on the severity of the infection, with higher antibody titers generally observed in patients with critical or severe disease compared to those with milder symptoms.

The CR3022 antibody is available in different formats such as human IgG1, rabbit IgGk, mouse IgM, and mouse IgG2b. It is a recombinant monoclonal antibody that has been manufactured for research purposes to aid in the detection and study of antibodies against COVID-19 and SARS-CoV
