HRP Chromogen for IHC - Emerald

HRP Chromogen for IHC - Emerald

Emerald chromogen is supplied as a ready-to-use solution. Emerald solution produces a green precipitate at the reaction site when it reacts with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
The appearance of the staining can be followed by observation under the microscope.
We strongly recommend counter-coloring the slides before adding Emerald Chromogen, especially for a weak signal to reduce signal loss in the wash steps.
The green precipitate obtained is resistant to alcohol and other organic solvents which allows the user to be able to dehydrate the slides in baths of increasing alcohol and xylene.
However, this precipitate is soluble in water, so it is recommended to limit the washing steps after staining with Emerald solution.
