Perfecta3D™ Hanging Drop Plate
The 3D Biomatrix Hanging Drop Plate is a high-throughput and versatile three-dimensional (3D) cell culture system in standard 384-well format, that simplifies and streamlines spheroid formation, culture and subsequent testing of the obtained 3D cellular constructs or spheroids. The hanging drop size is confined by the diameter of the plateau on the bottom surface of the plate. This eliminates spreading and keeps the geometry of the hanging drop consistent, providing robust and stable culturing conditions. A water reservoir is constructed around the periphery of the culture sites and on the bottom tray, alleviating the commonly encountered hanging drop evaporation problem. Spheroid culture is a scientifically proven method for cell culture and screening, that provides more reliable and meaningful results compared to 2D tests. Some of the key advantages of spheroid culture include the ability to mimic tissue metabolic and proliferative gradients, capture complex cell-matrix and cell-cell interactions, as well as monitor cell growth easily and regularly.

Recombinant Human Albumin Sera
OsrHSA is a recombinant human serum albumin derived from Oryza sativa (rice grain). It is a highly purified animal-, virus-, and prion-free product developed as an alternative to plasma-derived HSA ( pHSA ), to which it is structurally equivalent. OsrHSA is a widely used supplement of cell culture media which promotes cell growth and increases recombinant protein yield.
